Madison Snow Wins Again at Miller Motorsports Park

In last year’s edition of the Utah Grand Prix, then-15-year-old Madison Snow of Pleasant Grove turned Miller Motorsports Park on its ear by winning two races in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama’s Gold class. The series, which races Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars in two classes (Platinum for newer cars, Gold for older) had never had such a young winner.

The SCCA Pro Racing Pirelli World Challenge Championship field heads into Turn 1 during the Utah Grand Prix at Miller Motorsports Park.

The Utah Grand Prix got underway at Miller Motorsports Park today, and Patrick Long qualified on pole position for Saturday’s SCCA Pirelli World Challenge Championship race, posting a lap at 1:50.834/99.002mph on the 3.048-mile Outer Course.

Utah has never been known as a hotbed of road racing talent. That is, until Miller Motorsports Park was built in 2006. Since then, thanks to the karting programs and the Ford Racing High Performance Driving School there is a nice cadre of drivers who are making their way through the ranks.
